Clifton M. Jones Student Leadership Conference & MLK Day of Service
Registration is OPEN! CLICK HERE to log in through VOLink to complete the registration. Registration is limited to 600 students.
On the day of the event, dress in warm, casual attire that you are comfortable getting a little dirty! Please bring a water bottle, wear close-toed shoes, and arrive at check-in ready to lead and serve!
There is no charge to register, although not attending the event in its entirety, including leaving early, will result in a $25 non-negotiable program fee. Cancellations CANNOT be accepted.
We have a variety of excellent programs planned for our breakout sessions. Highlights from previous years include “The Hunger Games: Lessons in Leadership and Social Change,” “Lost in Translation: Understanding and Communicating with Different Personality Types,” and “The Toughest Job You’ll Ever Love: Peace Corps.” Presenters include graduate students, faculty, and staff from all areas of the university as well as professionals from the greater Knoxville community!
Student participants spend the afternoon in service to our community. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate requests to serve at specific sites or with specific participants. Local partners have included Boys & Girls Clubs, Second Harvest Food Bank, YWCA, Young-Williams Animal Center, Habitat for Humanity, and more! Learn more at our community partners page.
