Ignite Outdoors

June 13-17 & June 20-24

Ignite Outdoors is a five-day wilderness trip filled with adventure, leadership, and outdoor skill development for all experience levels.

Ignite Team Leaders and University of Tennessee Outdoor Program staff take pride in providing a meaningful experience for participants. With training in navigation, wilderness first aid, risk management, group dynamics, leadership, and technical skills, our leaders are well prepared to provide an enjoyable adventure for students.

Ignite Outdoors base camp is located at Gee Creek Campground in Cherokee National Forest.  Groups will experience paddle boarding on Lake Ocoee, rock climbing at Starr Mountain in addition to a two-day backpacking adventure, hiking along the John Muir Trail.

The cost of $150 includes all meals, transportation to and from base camp, all outdoor activities, a t-shirt and main gear (large pack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad and tent).

Use the link at the top of this page to register.  No payment is required; we will charge your student account in August.
