Ignite Team Leaders are current student leaders at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who volunteer their time to help provide leadership development, advice, and involvement opportunities to members of the freshman class. Team Leaders provide a meaningful mentoring relationship while helping new students learn what it means to be a Volunteer. Ignite Team Leaders apply each fall and are selected each December. They participate in a semester long leadership development course in addition to engaging in extensive training on UT traditions, resources, leadership, challenge course facilitation, diversity, values congruence and more! They are 24 of the most incredible and inspiring leaders at UT and they serve as outstanding role models for the hundreds of students who participate in the Ignite program each year.

Our TLs hail from various cities across Tennessee including Knoxville, Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, Johnson City, Columbia, Brentwood, Cookville and more! Some of our Team Leaders even made the trip to UT from out of state- including leaders from Georgia, California and Illinois!
