Description: A special addition to the 2015-2016 Monthly Days of Services comes in the form of National Volunteer Week (NVW). National Volunteer Week, a program established by Points of Light in 1974, is about demonstrating to the nation that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals. NVW encourages individuals and their respective communities to take action and be at the center of social change – discovering and actively demonstrating their collective power to make a difference. The Center for Leadership and Service’s Leadership and Service Ambassadors will plan a daily service opportunity for each day (Monday through Friday) of the 2016 NVW.

Description: We want to make UT more sustainable, and we need your help! Come volunteer with us and area agencies that promote environmental awareness, sustainability, conservation and recycling. Service assignments will include gardening, removal of invasive species, litter cleanup, river cleanup, and more!
