The Center for Leadership & Service is excited to launch ReVOLve Out in 2014! This environmentally sustainable program will engage the entire UT campus community while positively impacting the local Knoxville community and our environment.
ReVOLve Out is a program designed to reduce the waste produced by University of Tennessee students during the end-of-year move out. ReVOLve Out raises awareness about re-using items, the usefulness of items that end up in landfills and highlights the missions of our local community partners. ReVOLve Out would also raise funds for mini grants that will be based out of the Center for Leadership & Service.
Students are encouraged to donate any unwanted items in their residence hall lobbies.
You can drop off your donations between 3-5pm on April 26-May 10 to the UT Recycling warehouse located at 2121 Stephenson Drive, Dock 26. Faculty/Staff are also welcome to donate items to the UT Recycling warehouse.
*Please help us keep campus clean and do not leave items outside the UT Recycling warehouse.
If you are unable to drop off items on the designated days/times call the Center for Leadership & Service at 865-974-5455 to request a special drop off time.
All volunteers are eligible to apply for mini-grants in fall 2014 to fund environmentally friendly/sustainability projects. Volunteer shifts are from 3-5pm, Monday-Friday (April 28-May 9). Click here o sign-up for a volunteer shift.
