What is The Institute™?

Since its inception in 1986, the LeaderShape Institute has developed an international reputation as a premier leadership development program for young adults. More than 55,000 young people from colleges, universities, corporations, and organizations across America and around the world have graduated from the program.

The Institute is an intensive and energizing six-day program committed to producing extraordinary results in an organization while also helping college students to develop a commitment to lead with a high level of integrity. The program content reflects key leadership issues of vision, partnerships, integrity, and results. Specifics of the program include a team challenge course, an evening with a guest leader forum, quality facilitators from a variety of backgrounds, and learning and sharing in small groups called family clusters.

LeaderShape is open to enrolled UT students who will have at least a year left at UT after completing the program. Students are required to stay on site for the duration of the program.There is a $100 registration fee that includes all food, lodging, transportation, and supplies for the six-day program which is due after students have been accepted into the program. Students who are offered a spot in the program and attend an orientation session will be charged $500 if they do not attend the Institute.
