The Center for Leadership and Service is excited to sponsor a monthly service series provided in partnership with various campus departments and community agencies. Students are provided with transportation and are given an organized opportunity to serve the local community on a Friday afternoon.
Daily service opportunities can be found on our ‘Sign Up To Serve’ Calendar.
If you are a Community Partner, and wish to request student volunteers for any of the below ‘Service Series’, please fill out the request form located here: http://leadershipandservice.utk.edu/community-partners-for-service-series/

Every day of our ‘service series’ is different, but here’s a typical schedule:
- 1:45–2:15pm – Student check-in
- 2:15–2:45pm – Depart for service / travel to service site
- 2:45–4:30pm – Service occurs
- 4:30–5:00pm – Travel back to UT
PLEASE NOTE: As reflected on the registration forms, please remember that while these events are offered free of charge, failure to attend a day of service after registering will result in a $20 hold being placed on your student account to account for expenses incurred in your absence. This applies to all no-shows and cancellations. Learn more about the hold policy.
