The University of Tennessee Alternative Break Program uses a lottery system to place participants on trips. You will be prompted on this form to rank your trip preferences based on your interest in the social issue.Once all lottery applications have been submitted, we will use a computer program that randomly selects participant applications and assigns them to a trip based on available spots and the preferences that are ranked.
All Alternative Fall Break Lottery packets must be submitted by September 5th by 11:59 PM. You will be notified of your placement by September 6th by 8:00 PM.
**Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee that all applicants will be placed on an Alternative Fall Break. If you are not placed on a trip, we encourage you to look into our 7 Alternative Spring Break trips!
