LSA Program & Workshop Offerings

A large group of students in Baton RougeThe leadership and service ambassadors present programs to hundreds of students each year on a variety of topics. This page outlines recommended programs and workshops categorized by topic, and we can modify any of our current offerings to best meet the needs of your group. The LSAs can also plan a service experience for your students or agency.

Teams and Teambuilding

This category can include anything from icebreakers to learning about team dysfunctions. Past topics include breaking the ice, team building, and conflict management.

Leadership Principles and Applications

These ideas range from theory to practice as participants learn about their leadership style to how to apply it. Past topics include the True Colors personality test, time management, leadership styles, leadership theories, and personal missions.

Social Justice

Programs within this category pertain to diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice. Past topics include introductory social justice; stereotypes; being a change agent, ally, or advocate; and power and privilege.

Service, Volunteerism & Servant Leadership

This area exposes students to various kinds of service and what it means to be a servant leader. Past topics include the nature of service, service-learning for servant leaders, how to be a good volunteer, and understanding community need.
