Challenge Course Facilitation

Students are working together to complete a teambuilding activity called "Snowshoes".Available to any groups with team-building needs, our facilitators are prepared to guide participants through our portable challenge course elements in programs that focus on elements of trust, communication, integrity, conflict resolution, and team building. We can facilitate a challenge course experience at nearly any location—on or off campus.

Availability and Rates

We provide challenge course facilitation free of charge for all UT students, faculty, and staff. We can also provide services for non-UT groups for a fee of $30 per person for a half-day experience.

Our staff and student facilitators will work to accommodate your group during your preferred time, but scheduling is easiest Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. We are available to meet one on one to provide consultation for your group, prior to your group’s challenge course experience. To schedule a time to meet with one of our staff members or for additional information, e-mail

Challenge Course Policies & Expectations

We ask that your group review our policies and expectations before participating in our Challenge Course activities. Participants are required to bring a completed waiver to their challenge course experience. View policies, expectations, and a copy of the waiver.

Participant Feedback

Students are working together to accomplish a teambuilding activity called Channels.

“The Center for Leadership and Service does an excellent job with our students on the BETS Program. They really help lay a foundation that helps the students realize their leadership potential throughout the program and beyond. The students learn a great deal about themselves and about leading others! There is no other way I’d prefer to start off our week than with the CLS Team!” —Tyvi Small, Director of Diversity Initiatives, Haslam College of Business
